We spoke every now and then but it wasn’t until summer 2024 where Joel visited Switzerland to see Marie’s family that we realised we are kindred spirits. Still, we remained patient and after several events, conversations with God, and with each other, Joel surprised Marie during the easter holidays in ghana with a proposal on April 28th in 2025. full of shock and joy, Marie said yes and the rest was history.
